Prices
All prices listed on the website are in euros (EUR), including VAT and excluding delivery costs. We reserve the right to change prices from day to day without prior consent.

 

Payment

Det Gamle Apotek A/S accepts payment with VISA, Mastercard, PayPal, and ApplePay. We do not charge a transaction fee for your purchase. The payment of the order will only be debited from your account when your order is shipped. Det Gamle Apotek A/S uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information, which means that the connection is secure.

If you pay via PayPal, you are not protected by the dispute resolution process. Read more about the terms and conditions on PayPal's website.


Reservation of payment

If you pay with an international payment card, the amount will be reserved immediately. The money will be reserved on your card or account until:

1) We deduct the amount when we ship the item, or
2) The money is released according to the agreement with your card issuer.

Delivery

Det Gamle Apotek delivers to the following countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland and Faroe Islands.

All packages will be delivered with GLS to a parcel shop, if possible, or the customer's home address. The customer will be notified via SMS or e-mail by GLS when the package is delivered. The package can also be tracked through GLS Track&Trace.

It is the customer's responsibility to pick up the package in time at the parcel shop or for GLS to be able to deliver the package at the home address. If problems should occur, please contact our customer service at: support@det-gamle-apotek.dk


Delivery time

Your order will be delivered within 3-7 business days (for items in stock), but we strive to ship your order as soon as possible. Should there be an extended delivery time in special cases, we will notify you of this.

In the event of delays, backorders, or sold-out items, we will inform you as soon as possible and let you know what we can do about it - e.g., give you a refund or help you find a similar item elsewhere.

During holidays, longer delivery times can be expected.

Right of return and cancellation

Items purchased on the webshop can only be returned to the webshop and cannot be returned or exchanged in our physical stores.

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on items purchased from our webshop. The period is calculated from the day;

  • You receive your order.
  • You receive the last item of your order in case of multiple deliveries.

Cancellations must be reported to us no later than 14 days after receipt, and you must return the shipment no later than 14 days after cancellation. Notice of withdrawal must be given by e-mail at support@det-gamle-apotek.dk.

Cancellation of a purchase can only be made by expressly notifying us. Therefore, an uncollected package cannot be considered as cancellation of the purchase. If no notification has been given regarding an uncollected package, we will contact you for clarification. If the purchase is canceled, the amount for return shipping charged to us by the shipping company will be deducted from the purchase amount before it is refunded to the buyer.

You are responsible for any return shipping costs, and you are free to choose your own carrier. You must return your order without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have exercised your right of withdrawal. When returning goods, you are responsible for ensuring that they are properly packaged. Please fill out this return form and enclose it in the package.

We do not accept cash on delivery shipments nor do we accept items returned to a parcel shop.

 

Condition of the item upon return

It is up to Det Gamle Apotek A/S to assess the condition of the item. If the item has been tested beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and function, it is considered used and of reduced value. This means that if you cancel the purchase, you will receive a smaller portion or none of the purchase amount back, and in some cases, this may mean that you will only be able to get the shipping costs back.

Items excluded from the right of withdrawal

The following types of goods are not included in the right of withdrawal:

  • Items that have been made to a consumer's specifications or have been given a distinct personalized touch.
  • Sealed items that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
  • Items that, due to their nature, are inextricably mixed with others upon delivery.
  • Items that deteriorate or expire quickly.

 

Refunds

If you regret your purchase and return it, you will of course receive a refund for the amount you paid us.

In the event of a loss in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase price.

We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (however, this does not apply to additional delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery method we offer). Det Gamle Apotek A/S does not pay for return shipping.

When exercising your right of withdrawal, your payment will be refunded without undue delay and within 14 days from the date on which we received your notification that you wish to withdraw from the agreement. Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold payment until we have received the item, unless you send us documentation proving that you have returned it.

 

Right of complaint

There is a 2-year warranty on products in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty applies to defects in materials and/or workmanship. You can have the item repaired, replaced, refunded, or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. The warranty does not apply to defects or damage caused by improper handling of the product. You must make a complaint within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect/fault. If you make a complaint within two months of discovering the fault, the complaint will always be considered timely. Det Gamle Apotek A/S will cover return costs to a reasonable extent if the complaint is justified. The item must always be returned in proper packaging. Remember to obtain a receipt for the shipment so that we can reimburse your shipping costs.

In case of complaints, please send us an email at support@det-gamle-apotek.dk with information about your purchase, defects and deficiencies, as well as pictures.
From there, the further course of action will be assessed.

When you purchase an item and provide the information yourself, we receive customer data. As a data controller, we treat your personal data securely and confidentially. Your personal data will only be used and stored for the purposes for which it was collected.

We use third parties to process some of our data, for example in our shipping management, which is not developed by Det Gamle Apotek A/S. We have entered into data processing agreements with our partners to ensure that they comply with applicable rules on the protection of personal data.

If you have a complaint and we are unable to find a solution together, you will be able to file a complaint to:

To file a complaint, the item or service you want to complain about must have cost at least 1.220 DKK and no more than 100.000 DKK. For complaints about clothes and shoes, though, the price must have been at least 790 DKK. There's a fee to get your complaint processed.

If you live in Denmark and have made a purchase from a seller outside Denmark but within the EU, Norway, Iceland, or the United Kingdom, you can file a complaint with Consumer Europe here.

If you live in another EU country, Norway, or Iceland, you can contact the European Consumer Centre in that country.
